FIELD LEADER - HIKING COURSES SPRING & FALL

Four Field Leader - Hiking Courses will be offered as follows: May 14-15 in
Antigonish; June 9-10 in Sydney; October 15-16 in Wolfville; and November
5-6 in Halifax. Participants learn to become confident hiking leaders and
earn Outdoor Council of Canada (OCC) national certification. The course is
offered through Hike Nova Scotia in partnership with the OCC and supported
by the NS Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. Learn more and

RE-CONNECTING WITH NATURE WORKSHOPS IN JUNE

Five Re-Connecting with Nature workshops will take place as follows: June 3
in Liverpool; June 8 in Wolfville; June 11 in Halifax; June 15 in Pictou
County; and June 17 in Sydney. Participants learn to lead and share an
appreciation and understanding of nature with children and youth. The
workshop is offered through Hike Nova Scotia in partnership with the NS
Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage with support from Acadia
