Let us help you celebrate the season...


*GUIDED SNOWSHOE WANDERS* --

We are leading two forest snowshoe wanders in partnership with Hike Nova
Scotia <http://www.hikenovascotia.ca/> again this year.

Join us for a moonlit evening or a winter afternoon wander through the
beautiful old growth forest at Windhorse Farm! After snowshoeing, we'll
gather for a hot drink around the fire.

Tickets are $12. There will be quite a few pairs of snowshoes available at
no charge (thanks to MODL).

*GROOMED TRAILS FOR CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING* --

Over 15 km of the Windhorse trails are now being groomed this year for
cross-country skiing!


*OFF-GRID CABINS and GROUP FACILITIES* --

Bring your sweetheart, friends, family or work team...wind down and be
inspired within the winter forest. This is also a lovely season for an
individual retreat.
The wood-fired sauna is available to all our overnight guests.

cabin <http://www.windhorsefarm.org/spaces/cabins/> is nestled in a quiet
part of the farm, either in the forest or garden. A small wood stove
provides heat; a 2-burner propane stove is for cooking; fresh water is
provided from our well; there is an outhouse near-by; for bathing you will
have use of the shower in the “Chat Room” at the farm house.

Light is by ​
solar or propane.​

Cabins start at $40/night and are rented for two nights or more.
