The Provincial Government thinks it's ok for Alton Gas to dump 1.3 
million cubic metres of brine in the Shubenacadie River - all in the 
name of building massive underground caverns designed to store fossil 
fuel gases.

The project has been approved without the consent of Sipene'katik and 
Milllbrook bands.

The brining of the Shubenacadie River is set to happen any day.

For those of you in Halifax wanting to support the resistance against 
Alton Gas - this is for you! Come show your opposition to this project 
and strengthen the voices of those already on the front lines in Alton.
