Join Deanery staff member Steve Abbott for an interactive presentation on outdoor preparedness and survival.
Learn the techniques and sciences behind shelter and fire building as you explore the property's Acadian forest. 
The afternoon will cover trip planning, rescue signalling, equipment and more.
You'll learn to plan for things to go right and be ready for if they don't.
