Position: Membership Crew Lead, Canvassing Team
Organization: Ecology Action Centre
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia

The Ecology Action Centre is an environmental charity based in Nova Scotia. We take leadership on critical environmental issues from biodiversity protection to climate change to environmental justice. We are grounded in community, and are a strong voice and watchdog for our environment. We work to catalyze change through policy advocacy, community development, and building awareness. We take a holistic approach to the environment and our economy to create a just and sustainable society.

We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference in their communities by joining our membership canvassing team. As Membership Crew Lead, you will be expected to canvas, meet individual targets of $35 per canvass hour and train the team of 4-6 canvassers to do the same. This position is focused on productivity, going door to door throughout the HRM and different communities in our province, positively representing EAC and acquiring new memberships.

This is a fixed term contract, 35 to 40 hours per week and hourly wage of $17.50 per hour ending August 31, 2020.
