*NS Hiking Summit June 5-7, Chéticamp*

Hike Nova Scotia’s ninth annual Hiking Summit is June 5 to 7 in Chéticamp.
A celebration of hiking culture, it includes workshops, hiking stories,
networking, hikes and a kids’ program. It is hosted by Hike NS, Les Hikers,
La Société Saint-Pierre and Parks Canada. Platinum sponsors are Parks
Canada and Inverness County. Platinum partner is Destination Cape Breton.
Gold sponsors are Acadian Credit Union and the Royal Bank. Silver sponsors
are Les Amis du Plein Air, Tourism Club and Atlantick. Silver partner is
the Nova Scotia Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. Bronze
sponsors are Tri-Mac Toyota, Le Gabriel Restaurant and Lounge, Pictou
Landing First Nation, Cabot Trail Sea & Golf Chalets, Harbour Restaurant &
Bar, Chéticamp Fisheries and Live Life in Tents. Other partners include
Aucoin Bakery, The Doryman Pub & Grill, Chéticamp Co-op and Hike the
Highlands Festival Society. Registration is $40 to $65 (accommodation and
