The Herbalist Association of Nova Scotia (HANS) is having a plant sale fundraiser Sunday, May 30, 2021, 1:00-4:00pm. The day will have plants for sale and local herbalists giving mini talks. HANS is also looking for plant (medicinal herbs, trees, shrubs) donations. If you would like to support the work HANS does by making a donation, please contact herbalassociationns at gmail.com to be connected with a transporter (if outside Halifax) or make arrangements for drop off at our sale location - Bloom Institute of Herbal Studies 989 Young Ave, Halifax. See you at the sale! All social distancing requirements will be maintained.

Gardening? Thinking about water collection? Need an easy enclosed composter? Order a Rainbarrel or Composter and support a local organization. Women Addressing Violence on the Eastern Shore (WAVES) is having a RainBarrel.ca Truckload Sale in Musquodoboit Harbour, Peace Park, 67 Park Rd. on Friday, May 14, 2021, 4-7pm. Many of the Rainbarrels are reclaimed and cleaned from the food industry.
