Hello,
My name is Robin Willcocks-Musselman, and I am a PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Kate Sherren in the School for Resource and Environmental Studies at Dalhousie University. We are conducting a study to explore people’s experiences relocating process due to climate-induced risks.
We are currently recruiting people who are nineteen years and older, who live in Atlantic Canada, and have been permanently relocated to a climate-induced risk to participate in this study.
Participation in this study involves two interviews. The first interview will be an online call, followed by an in-person interview at a mutually agreed upon location near to where you live. During the online call and the face-to-face interview, you will be asked to answer questions about your relocation experience.
Participation in the study would take approximately 3-5 hours of your time in total (a 30-45 min online call plus a 1-1.5 hour in-person interview). If you are required to travel to an interview location, we will provide you with a gas card to remunerate these costs.
Participation is voluntary and all information provided will be kept confidential. This study has received ethics clearance through the Dalhousie Ethics Board. DAL REB# 2025-7855
If you are interested in participating, please contact me at rwillcoc at dal.ca <mailto:rwillcoc at dal.ca> or 902-818-7653 and I will set up a time to talk to you more about the study and your possible participation.
Sincerely,
Robin Willcocks Musselman
