Check out these events with Hike Nova Scotia this fall:

*Sept. - Oct.: Hike NS 20th Anniversary Challenge*
Hike NS is 20 years old in 2026. Take our 20th Anniversary Challenge in
September and October to help us celebrate and fundraise for our work.
Register and complete the challenge to qualify for great prize draws from

*Sept. 15: NS Walks Walk Leader training, online*
Learn to be a Walk Leader with NS Walks and help lead a weekly walking

*Sept. 19: Tibetan Forest Bath: Five Element Healing, Oakfield (HRM)*
Hike Nova Scotia and Healing Buddha Hermitage will host a Tibetan Forest
Bath: Five Element Healing walk in Oakfield Provincial Park on Saturday,
Sept. 19 at 10 am. Register at

*Sept. 26: Kings County Hiker Challenge badge launch guided Full Moon hike,
Grand Pre*
Hike Nova Scotia and Kings County are launching the new Kings County Badge
as part of Hike NS’s Hiker Challenge. It invites you to hike six of ten
trails within a year. Attend the launch hike on September 26 in Grand Pre.

*Oct. 1-4: 12th Annual Hiking Summit, Digby*
Hike Nova Scotia and co-hosts the Digby Area Recreation Commission, the
Fundy Erratics hiking group and Our Pathways Society invite you to the
Hiking Summit from October 1 to 4 in Digby. Take in workshops, hikes and

Join Hike NS for the Backpacker’s Bazaar used outdoor gear sale Sat., Oct.
24,10 am to 4 pm at St. Margaret of Scotland Church Hall (3751 Robie St.)
in Halifax. Find good used gear, sell your own gear, donate gear to Hike NS
or take in a how-to clinic. Entry fee is $5/person or $10/family. Book a
seller’s table in advance for $30. Qualify for prize draws! Supported by
