THIS IS A REMINDER OF SHAW FESTIVAL 2002 SEASON AUDITIONS AS FOLLOWS:-

Wednesday, February 6, 2002 (Equity); Thursday, February 7, 2002
(Non-Equity) - 10 am - 6 pm

MUSICAL GENERAL AUDITIONS
Friday, February 8, 2002 (Equity & Non-Equity) - 10 am - 6 pm

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  Friday, November 30, 2001.  Forward resume & photo
with a covering note indicating union status and category applying for -
DRAMA or MUSICAL to Mr. Christopher Newton, Artistic Director, Shaw
Festival, Box 774, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON  L0S 1J0.  Further enquires to be

REQUIREMENTS:
Equity Drama - 2 contrasting monologues - your choice; Non-Equity Drama - 1
monologue - your choice
Musical (Equity and non-Equity) - 1 monologue of your choice PLUS 2
contrasting songs, preferably an up-tempo and a ballad.  At least one song
should be a traditional musical theatre piece - ie. Gershwin, Porter,
Coward, Rodgers and Hart, etc.  The second song need not be traditional
musical theatre - it need not even be a musical theatre song; no opera or
contemporary pop/rock or musical scores influenced by pop/rock.
