Tour Marketing Coordinator

Dance Umbrella of Ontario/DUO is one of the country's most highly regarded non-profit organizations dedicated to providing arts administration for Ontario's dance professional community.  DUO is seeking a creative Tour Marketing Coordinator to join its team of professional arts administrators.

This individual will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure that the organization' s services are accomplished. The position will be responsible for developing, coordinating and sustaining relationships between DUO' s clients and engagers outside of the home market, supporting clients in the development of their tour marketing plans and tour funding/government applications, negotiating contracts, representing the clients at their performances and related tour conferences, coordinating the clients' productions,  participating as a member of DUO staff in service/staff policy development and assist in general administration of DUO clients.

This position requires a post secondary degree in arts administration/management or 3 years related experience in an arts organization, independent decision-making, excellent organizational and communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, demonstrated financial experience and aptitude particularly with budget preparation and intermediate computer skills, knowledge of the Canadian performing arts.  Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
