General Manager      Theatre Junction

Job Description
Primary Function: Reports directly to the Artistic Director & The Board of
Directors. To develop and implement corporate and individual fundraising
programs, and develop the Board of Directors. To provide leadership and
management support for the administrative staff at Theatre Junction.

Resource Development & Fund Raising
Develop short, medium and long term strategies for corporate and individual
fund development and implement
Develop and implement planned giving program
Research & implement endowment fund
Develop reporting systems for fundraising activities

Board Development
Set priorities and develop a strategy for individual & corporate fund
development on the board
Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for board members

Office Leadership and Management
Provide general leadership for office staff as required up to a maximum of
two hours per day. Co-ordinate fundraising plan with business and marketing
plans. Keep annual calendar of business deadlines. Review monthly financial
statements with the business manager & board treasurer. Conduct weekly staff
meetings and review weekly priority rolling task lists.
