Rasik Arts announces the DESIBEL Co-op for NEW SOUTH ASIAN VOICES in a
workshop production of "Left" by Sourabh Chatterjee - October 17-19,
2002

Ellora Patnaik, Imali Perera. Laila Moos, Sa'ad Shah and director Sally
Jones will be presenting a performance of Sourabh Chatterjee's newest 
one-act play, "Left", at the Palmerston Library Theatre,
Thursday-Saturday, October 17-19, at 8pm. "Left" is a darkly humorous,
at times hilarious, look at three sisters whose father left them when
they were young. Born in Calcutta, Sourabh Chatterjee was raised in New
York City where he trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse and the
American Globe Theatre's Shakespeare Conservatory. He is recognized as
an up-and-coming playwright on the off-Broadway scene, and has been an
integral part of the South Asian American theatre community. You are
invited 
to meet Sourabh after the performance and discuss the play with him.

October 17, 18, 19 at 8pm - Palmerston Library Theatre (just north of
Bloor 
St. on Palmerston Ave, which is two blocks west of Bathurst)

Tickets are PWYC (pay-what-you-can) on Thurs. & Fri. night; $10 on
Saturday 
night.
