General Manager/Marketing Coordinator


The St. Lawrence Stage Co., a professional summer theatre operating in
Brockville ON, is accepting applications for the position of General
Manager/Marketing Coordinator.

Reporting to the Board of Directors in co-operation with the Artistic
Director, the General Manager/ Marketing Coordinator is responsible for
the financial and administrative operations of the company as well as
overseeing all marketing, communications and creative campaigns.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing, managing and controlling the operating budget; Bookkeeping,
payroll and production of regular financial reports; Reporting and
remitting all government taxes; Coordination of all print and media
materials including season brochures, advertising,   press releases etc;
Overseeing the Development and Tour Coordination activities; Grant
Management, Government Relations; Management of Corporate Sponsorship
and Membership Campaigns, Fundraising, Board Relations; overseeing
full-time and seasonal employees; negotiation and execution of
contracts.

We seek someone who is a team player with a minimum of three years of
arts administrative/ management/marketing experience particularly in the
non-profit and charitable sector. This person will be a dedicated, self
motivated individual, a "people person" with strong organizational,
administrative, interpersonal and writing skills.

A personal vehicle is required for travel to local and out-of-town
contacts.

This is a full-time year round position with a benefits package.
