CALL for DIRECTOR - TORONTO

Shakespeare in the Rough, now in its 11th season, is currently accepting
proposals from directors for their summer show in Withrow Park.

Those interested are asked to forward a current resume and a one-page
proposal for their production.

As can be seen from the company's production history, Shakespeare in the
Rough encourages proposals from the entire cannon of the Bard, including
the lesser known and seldom performed works.

Rehearsals begin in early in July and the production would run from
August through until Labour Day.

Shakespeare in the Rough has an official policy of cross-gender and
cross cultural casting and directors are asked to consider this in their
proposal as well as ways they would stage the production in our park
setting.

Shakespeare in the Rough intends to apply to Canadian Actors' Equity
Association to produce this production under the terms of the
Independent Artists Projects Policy.

Proposals will be accepted up until November 28 with interviews
scheduled for the week of December 1 - 5.
