YOUTHEATRE AUDITIONS

Youtheatre will be holding Toronto auditions the week of December 1st,
2003 and Montreal auditions December 10th & 11th, 2003 for its Dora
Award-winning production "The Other Side of the Closet" by Ed Roy.

Production dates: Montreal and Winnipeg, March 1st to April 25th, 2004
(8 week contract)

Rehearsals: March 1st to 16th, 2004

Montreal:	 March 17th to April 9th, 2004 
(1 week of main stage and 2.5 weeks of school touring)

Winnipeg:  	April 13th to 19th 2004 
(Manitoba Theatre for Young People, mainstage) 

5 experienced actors required: (convincing as 15 to 17 year old
teenagers)

Carl			Normal, good guy, closeted gay 

Rick			Aggressive, homophobic bully 

Justin/Antony	Justin: Confused, easy-going guy / Antony: flamboyantly
gay teenager

Paulette		Dynamic, progressive, open-minded 

Tara			Ditzy, insecure, party-girl 

The play will be directed by Youtheatre's artistic director, Michel
Lefebvre.
