CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO

CanStage is calling for submissions for the 2004 Dream in High Park - As
You Like It by William Shakespeare.  Directed by James MacDonald.

Auditions will be held the week of April 5; Rehearsals begin May 31;
opens July 1; closes September 5
1      Duke Senior, also plays Duke Frederick - 40s/50s (powerful yet
soft)
2      Touchstone            - 30s/40s (character - comic)
3      Orlando - 20s/early 30s (good-looking)
4      Jaques - 40s/50s (tough, cynical)
5      Oliver - late 20s/30s (a jerk with a heart of gold)
6      Adam/Sir Oliver - 50s/60s (loyal older servant)
7      Charles/William - 20s/30s (big - wrestler)
8      LeBeau/Amiens - 20s-40s (character-comic)
9      Dennis/Silvius - 20s (young, puppy dog-ish - singer)
10    Corin/Hymen - 40s-60s (warm)
11    Rosalind - 20s/early 30s (taller than average, boyish)
12    Celia - late 20s (Rosalind's cousin)
13    Phebe - 20s (tough, spunky, earthy)
14    Audrey - 20s (ditsy bombshell)

selected for an audition will be contacted.
