NATIVE EARTH GENERAL AUDITIONS

Native Earth Performing Arts will hold general season auditions for
Equity and non-Equity actors for the 2004-2005 season. The auditions
will take place on Monday, July 19th from 10:00 to 6:00 pm at the
Nightwood-Tapestry Studio #315, 55 Mill Street, The Cannery, 3rd floor.

Appointments are required and may be made by calling 416.531.1402. If
you have been scheduled for a general audition, please come prepared
with one contemporary Canadian monologue, headshot and resume.
Candidates will also be asked to cold read excerpts from selected
scripts from this year's Weesageechak Festival XVII and from Native
Earth's season mainstage production of The Unnatural and Accidental
Women, written by Marie Clements. Each audition will last approximately
20 minutes.

Native Earth Performing Arts is dedicated to the expression of the
Native experience through theatre arts. We work to expand the pool of
experienced Aboriginal talent, providing a base for professional Native
artists. All actors of Aboriginal descent are urged to audition.
Callbacks for specific productions will be held at later dates
throughout the season.

In an effort to keep current files of Native Earth actors, we request
that local actors who are unable to attend the auditions send a headshot
and resume to:

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
