ANNOUNCEMENT - VANCOUVER
-----------------------------------------

Marlene Dixon, beloved Arts Club Media Liaison since 1971, will be
leaving the Arts Club after closing night of Jacques Brel (Is Alive And
Well And Living In Paris). Marlene will continue to be involved with the
Arts Club, assisting Bill Millerd on a number of artistic projects.
After tirelessly publicizing and promoting over 300 Arts Club
productions, she looks forward to spending more time travelling with her
husband, Terry Wolfe, and is excited about returning to her first
love--the stage.

Arts Club Artistic Managing Director, Bill Millerd, says "Marlene has
played an enormous part in the growth of the company over the last 32
years. Her indomitable spirit has been a great support to me. I will
miss her cheery personality on a daily basis, but know that she and I
will still be working together on other projects, and that she will
always be at our opening nights cheering us on!"

A celebration of Marlene's career at the Arts Club will be held in the
Upper Lobby of the Granville Island Stage on Thursday March 18th from
4:30 pm- 7:00 pm. Anyone who has ever worked with Marlene is invited to
RSVP to the Arts Club at 604.687.5315 x 355.
