3. ARTISTS HEALTH CENTRE FUNDRAISER - TORONTO
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Artists' Health Centre Foundation invites you to No Man's Land, a
new self-solo choreography by Michael Du Maresq, based on the novel, The
Wars by Timothy Findley. No Man's Land is being presented November 3rd
through 7th at the Winchester Street Theatre. Michael has graciously
offered to designate the Saturday evening performance as a special
tribute to Timothy Findley and a fundraiser for the Artists' Health
Centre Foundation.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $50 ($40 for artists). The performance
takes place at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6th, 2004, at the
Winchester Street Theatre. Proceeds from the evening will be used to
help fund the AHCF "Road Show" program, which presents workshops on
artists' health issues within the arts community.

Guests of honour that evening will be Bill Whitehead, partner of the
late Timothy Findley, and Lynda Hamilton, former Board member of the
Artists' Health Centre Foundation. As part of the evening, Bill
Whitehead will give a reading from The Wars. After the show you are
invited to a reception to meet the artists and the guests of honour.

The late Timothy Findley remains one of Canada's most beloved writers,
with The Wars considered by many to be his best novel. Timothy Findley
takes us from silent Rosedale drawing rooms to the bleak, corpse-ridden
battlefields of World War I. This is a novel about a journey for one
young man but like all great novels its themes of self-discovery are
universal.

We sincerely hope you will join us for this special tribute honouring
one of our country's finest artists, Timothy Findley, and we invite you
to share in what will be a wonderful evening. It will be an event you
won't want to miss!

To purchase tickets, or for more information, phone 416.351.0239, or
e-mail info at ahcf.ca. Tax receipts will be issued for the allowable
portion of the ticket cost upon request.
