Robert Duvall. William Hurt. Mary Louise Parker. Dustin Hoffman. Alison
Janney. Tom Cruise. Sydney Pollock. Gregory Peck. Joanne Woodward. David
Mamet. William H. Macy:

They all trained in the Meisner technique.

This is a condensed course designed to train actors to freely and
spontaneously work off fellow actors with truthful behaviour under
imaginary circumstances. The Meisner technique is based on
Stanislavski's foundations of truthful behaviour, and further
strengthens the actor's involvement, talking and listening, and
concentration through a series of carefully designed exercises.
Progression to scene work naturally follows from the practice of the
exercises. Outside rehearsal with partners is required.

Robert Verlaque: Mr. Verlaque completed intensive Meisner training under
Master Teacher Fred Kareman of the Neighborhood Playhouse, and Wynn
Handman of the American Place Theatre in NYC. Master classes in several
techniques and disciplines including Actor's Studio, Uta Hagen, Stella
Adler, and audition techniques contribute to a wide range of knowledge
and expertise fine-tuned by 25 years of professional experience as
actor, director, teacher and writer. He is a permanent faculty member of
prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NY . He has worked with
acclaimed Broadway directors Mike Nichols, Gerry Gutierrez and Pamela
Berlin among others. He recently finished filming the Fox miniseries
"Hanssen" opposite William Hurt and Mary Louise Parker, and is featured
in "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe". His plays have been staged in
New York City and Los Angeles, and a screenplay is in pre-production. He
is appearing opposite William H. Macy and Tom Selleck in CBS mini-series
"Reversible Errors", airing this May, and guest star roles on 1-800
Missing and Doc.
