AUDITIONS - VANCOUVER

BARD ON THE BEACH SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
WILL BE HOLDING GENERAL AUDITIONS IN VANCOUVER ON AUGUST 16, 17 & 18,
2005.

Interested Actors should forward a current head shot, resume and a brief
cover letter on or before Friday, July 29, 2005 by regular mail to:

or submissions may be dropped at the
Bard on the Beach Box Office in Vanier Park.

Cover letters should be addressed to Christopher Gaze, Artistic
Director.

Please Note: Submissions by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

For those selected for an audition, please prepare:
-	two contrasting Shakespeare monologues (2 min. max each)
-	a short verse (30 sec. max) of an unaccompanied melodic song. 

Please be advised that Bard receives a large number of submissions each
year, and as such is unable to offer audition times to all who apply.
Preference at General Auditions will be given to actors who have not had
an audition in the last two years. Casting Auditions for our 2006 Season
(to be announced in late September) will take place in the late fall,
are by invitation only and will not be posted. Actors who have had
casting auditions in the last two years and former company members who
are interested in being considered for our 2006 season should indicate
that interest no later than September 30, 2005. If you are uncertain of
your status, please submit by the General Audition deadline (July 29).

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
