Seeking two excellent male actors for a workshop production of SARA'S
CAVE at the Heritage Theatre in Brampton during the 2nd Annual New Works
Playwright Festival. 

Playwright:  Donald Molnar
Director:    Jack Messinger

Rehearsals: begin July 4 (in Toronto)
Show dates:  July 21-24, 28-31 (8 performances)

SYNOPSIS

Passover 1942:  Anna, a young Polish woman, hides a Jewish family in her
root cellar.  At the same time, she must also billet two German officers
who hate each other.  While one, Martin, struggles with his conscience,
the other Klaus, tries to push him over the edge.  Innocent lives hang
in the balance.

CHARACTERS TO BE CAST:

Martin - An Einsatzgruppe captain in his late twenties. From an
advantaged, educated background.

Klaus - An Einsatzgruppe lieutenant in his early thirties. Working
class.
