CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - VICTORIA

Kaleidoscope Theatre, a professional theatre for young people based in
Victoria, BC, is seeking submissions from actors for the world premiere
of a new non-musical adaptation of Little Women by Barbara Poggemiller
and a remount (BC tour) of The Brementown Musicians adapted by Leslie D.
Bland Music by Tobin Stokes.  

Kaleidoscope operates under the Canadian Theatre Agreement.  

Rehearsals for Little Women begin April 28, 2006 and the production runs
in-house May 19 - 28, 2006 at the Belfry Theatre in Victoria.  

Rehearsals for Brementown Musicians  are TBA in March 2006 with the show
touring March/ April 2006.

Roles in The Brementown Musicians:

ACTOR #1 plays Joey (a teen), Waldo the Dog, and other roles ACTOR #2
plays Marcy (a teen), Liza the Cat, and other roles ACTOR #3 plays Matt
(a teen), George the Donkey, and other roles

The ability to sing, dance, and play musical instruments (other than
piano) are assets for Brementown

Auditions in Victoria and Vancouver for these productions will be by
invitation only.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
