Designed for the actor who wishes to extend his or her vocal
capabilities for commercial and animation work, this course will
challenge participants to stretch their creativity and vocal range in
order to compete effectively in these fields. All classes will be
conducted in a professional recording environment under the tutelage of
one of Canada's top commercial and animation voice directors.

Quebec Drama Federation presents: SPRING TRAINING 2006: MARCH 23-27

Voice-Over I: Dubbing Technique with Richard Dumont
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th from 10am-3:30pm    
What's a rhythmoband? In this intensive weekend workshop, you'll learn
from one of Montreal's busiest voice-actor/directors. In two 5-hour, in
studio sessions, you will familiarize yourself with the rudiments of
this rapidly growing sector of our industry.

Voice-Over II: Commercials with Martin Snape and Jennifer Seguin Friday
24th from 2-7pm Work in studio with a couple of pros. Commercial
copywriter/director and filmmaker, Martin Snape, teams up with
actor/voice-actor and TV director, Jennifer Seguin, to put you through
the paces in this 5 hour workshop focussing on TV and radio commercials.

The Standard Midwestern American Dialect with Julia Lenardon Thursday
23rd from 1-5pm & Sunday 26th from 4:30-8:30pm On an American film
set? Trying to lose that Canadian accent, eh? Voice/speach/dialect
instructor for the National Theatre School and dialogue coach for CBC's
Trudeau: Maverick in the Making, Julia will get you started in these two
4-hour sessions.

Audition Master Class with Bryna Wasserman
Friday 24th & Monday 27th from 9-1pm

Project Grant Writing with Kathryn Cleveland
Monday 27th 1-5pm 
Former General Manager of Porte Parole, Kathryn, will take you through
the nuts and bolts of project grant writing. Representatives from
Conseil des arts de Montreal, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec,
Heritage Canada and the Canada Council will also be on hand to speak
about their particular grants and take questions.
