Summer Employment at Neptune Theatre School

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us at our
Neptune Summer Theatre Arts Camps.

Neptune Theatre School provides quality educational programming for
people from people ages four to adult. In the summer we welcome over 600
students ages 4-18 during an eight week period to join us in discovering
the many exciting facets of theatre - from Shakespeare to Musical
Theatre Camps these eight weeks are the highlight of the summer.

Summer Camp Director:
As a Camp Director, you will possess strong leadership ability and be
enrolled or have graduated from a post secondary theatre or recreation
program. Your duties will include organization of the daily schedule,
planning exciting daily activities, overseeing maintenance of camp,
supervision of staff and students, some administrative duties. You will
need to be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. As you are the
first person a Neptune Theatre School patron speaks with, you are
pleasant, professional, and courteous. Previous camp and theatre
experience an asset. 
Contract dates are June 26 - August 25, 2006.

Camp Instructors:
As a Camp Instructor, you will possess strong leadership ability and
teaching skills and be enrolled or have graduated from a post secondary
theatre program. Your duties will include planning and implementing
daily lesson plans and supervision of students. We are looking for
instructors who are established or emerging artists and who are
passionate about theatre. Experience in one of the following areas is an
asset: musical or Greek theatre, collective creation, mime/clown,
theatre history, piano or Shakespeare. 
Contract dates are June 29-August 25, 2006. 

Camp Counsellors:
As a Camp Counsellor, you will possess strong leadership ability, some
teaching ability and be enrolled in a post secondary theatre program.
Your duties will include supervision of students, assistant teaching,
creating and implementing outdoor activities and maintenance of the
camp. We are looking for instructors who are emerging artists and who
are passionate about theatre. Previous camp experience is an asset. 
Contract dates are June 29-August 25, 2006.

All Positions:
Candidates for all positions must be 18 years of age or older. First Aid
training and a background check are required.
