EQ - SPRING 2008 ISSUE - AVAILABLE ONLINE
---------------------------

The electronic version of Equity's quarterly newsmagazine EQ is now
available on EQUITYONLINE at http://www.caea.com.

This issue of Equity Quarterly examines issues relating to Aboriginal
theatre in Canada. Guest Editor Yvette Nolan, Artistic Director of
Native Earth Performing Arts, and Michelle St. John co-founder of Turtle
Gals Performance Ensemble, share the challenges and realities of
producing and performing in Native theatre. In addition, the health and
wellness column profiles Vancouver's Performing Arts Lodge, and Equity
remembers members who passed in 2007.

Spring 2008 also marks the debut of "Council Link - A periodic report to
the Owners of Equity." President Allan Teichman summarizes the 2007
member survey results in the inaugural issue of Council's newsletter to
the membership.

Electronic issues of "Council Link", available to any member of Equity,
