The We Few Collective is presenting THE SHIFT by Tee Schneider at the
2008 Toronto Fringe Festival. We are looking to cast the following
roles (do not limit submissions based on age):

Douglas: A developmentally delayed fourteen-year-old living outside
Edmonton, loves the Calgary Flames. (A courageous actor not afraid to
make big choices. Think of "Angie" in "Top Girls:".)
Mr. Singh: A forty-four year old Sikh law school graduate living in
Toronto. (Indian dialect required.)
Bill: Forty to fifty years old widower who cares for his
developmentally delayed, blue collar oil worker. Oilers fan.
Maggie: A twenty-eight year old ICU nurse at a hospital in Toronto who
is originally from Happy Valley-Goose Bay. (Must be able to do the
dialect.)
Ray: A thirty-year-old activist from "out west" now living in Toronto
and caring for his dying partner Ian.

Please e-mail headshot and resume to theshift at wefew.ca by April 21,
2008.
