Odyssey Theatre is seeking an emerging arts administrator to join its
dynamic team as an Arts Administrative Intern. Position ideal for
someone interested in pursuing a career in arts administration, and/or
gaining new, transferable administrative skills.

Reporting to the GM, Arts Administrative Intern will provide operational
support in the areas of:

*       Public and media relations
*       Marketing
*       Grant-writing
*       Fundraising
*       General administration

Additional opportunity for the Administrative Intern to work with the AD
to coordinate and facilitate a series of new play development workshops
and assist production planning.

Successful candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized,
demonstrates excellent communication (particularly written) and
problem-solving skills, and has intermediate computer proficiency. Some
evenings and weekends. Theatre background and a driver's license would
be assets. 

Full-time, contract position (Oct 2008 - May 2009).  Salary between $350
to $400/week, based on qualifications and level of experience.
