Stage Management instructor
Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Corner Brook, NL
(Contractual Position from August 25, 2008 to April 24, 2009)

DUTIES
The successful applicant will be required to schedule, coordinate and
supervise departmental theatre productions, including supervising
student stage managers and demonstrating correct stage management
procedure. Duties include delivering stage management classes to
students in the stagecraft program; demonstrating proper techniques;
assisting in the coordination of scheduling and organizing of
productions within the program; coordinating departmental rehearsal
schedules, including properties, furniture, costumes, touring schedules,
rehearsal rooms and daily changes; maintaining production prompt script
and communication call board; overseeing backstage activities; and
performing other related duties as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Considerable experience (3-5 years) in professional stage management,
preferably including experience with students in a theatre training
program; graduation with a degree or diploma from an accredited theatre
training institution; or any equivalent combination of experience and
training. Knowledge of current techniques in stage management is
required. 

SALARY $35,557 - $49,863 per annum
