Rap Around Mozart - 2 person play with Opera/ Rap/Spoken Word by Susan
Cuthbert/ Writing consultant Allan Guttman Directed by: Susan

Synopsis: Opera Diva 'semi-professional' Barbara Parker-Carr is out to
impress her future step son, William and his school with her Mozart
lecture/recital. Overbearing Barbara humiliates William into joining her
on stage. At first he's shy but finds his voice, through Rap, especially
once Barbara 'drops the bomb' that she is going to marry his father.
These seemingly very diverse characters ultimately connect through their
music.

Looking for Actor (all ethnicities) to play teenager anywhere between
15- 19 yrs with STRONG RAP and/or SPOKEN WORD PERFORMING AND WRITING
ABILITIES. Improv skills a plus
ROLE: WILLIAM (shy teenager who finds his voice through spoken
word/rap).

Equity/Non Equity members  prepare 1 short RAP and/or Spokenword piece
