FEDERAL ELECTION ALL-PARTY FORUM - VANCOUVER - OCTOBER 6TH

WHEN: MONDAY, OCTOBER 6th, 7:00 - 10:30 P.M. 
WHERE: STANLEY THEATRE, 2750 Granville Street (at 12th Avenue)
WHAT: ALL-PARTY FORUM, 7:00 - 8.30 P.M.
Come hear representatives of the Conservative, Liberal, New Democratic
and Green Parties discuss their parties' positions on arts and culture.

Followed immediately by the: WRECKING BALL CABARET hosted by John Mann
from Spirit of the West and featuring readings from writings of
prominent Canadian writers. This gathering will be our time to come
together as an arts community to have a focused voice in Vancouver. More
to follow on talent and details.

Admission to both events is free. Pass the word, and please SHOW UP.

Also, the Alliance for Arts and Culture has undertaken a number of other
federal election advocacy activities including the following:
- FLYERS - Flyers for arts organizations to stuff into programs and can
be handed out at events, galleries, and election functions. These will
be ready next week. 
- T-SHIRTS - Printing of t-shirts to sell at cost to wear at the meeting
on October 6th and for the election campaigns (federal and municipal).
- CURTAIN SPEECHES - Distribution of a suggested curtain speech for
organizations to present before events.
