TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Coordinate all technical/production aspects of 15 indoor venues and
over 200 shows during the Festival; *Create and manage all Festival and
Touring show/venue budgets; *Responsible for contracting, scheduling,
administration, and logistics for all technical personnel and equipment;
*Advance venues and local labour contracts; *Oversee the Just for Laughs
warehouse and stock; *Act as Production Manager, Technical Director
and/or Stage Manager on selected Tours / Shows and coordinate such tasks
required accordingly; The production manager should be able to perform
other related tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

*Knowledge of best practices in event planning;
*Degree or certificate in Technical Theatre Production;
*Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a similar position or related
experience of five (5) years or more; *Must have experience in creating
and managing a budget; *Proven ability of managing employees; *Capacity
to work under pressure; *Strong communication skill and experience in
negotiation; *Strong organizational skills; *Proven ability in computer
skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access; *Proven ability in
AutoCAD ( an asset ); *Flexibility with hours (some weekends and nights
will need to be worked, as well as some travel / touring); *Capacity to
communicate in French.
