STORYLINE        
One Act musical by George C. Wolfe and Michael John LaChiusa.  Music and
Lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. Based on a poem written in the 1920's
by Joseph Moncure Marsh called the Wild Party Queenie, a"fading"
vaudeville Chorus girl lives with her vicious vaudeville clown boyfriend
Burrs.  One night they decide to throw a Wild Party that turns into an
evening of debauchery and we get to meet, in quasi-Brechtian like form,
their motley crew of friends.  It becomes a morality play at one
point...be careful what you push/wish for it might go off with a bang.

COMMENTS
We are looking for a strong group of Actor/Singers with a dynamic
presence - MUST BE STRONG SINGERS AND BE ABLE TO MOVE WELL, DANCE
BACKGROUND AN ASSETT. We are looking for visible minority and diverse
actors where indicated in the character descriptions. Please note: there
is some coarse language and a simulated orgy in this piece.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
