Additional information:
The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is seeking applications for its position of Technical Director.  The duties of this position include coordination and supervision of a technical staff of seven, evaluation of all technical aspects of the theatre's productions with regard to building, scheduling and budgeting, and other duties related to the position of Technical Director.  A detailed job description is available upon request.

Contract Dates: May 4 to September 5, 2010

Pre-season consultation will be required prior to May 4, 2010.  Payment for pre-season consultation will be at an hourly rate.

This position requires 3-5 years relevant professional experience.  Candidates versed in lighting and sound, as well as technical direction, would be an asset.

A valid driver's license is an asset.  The equivalent of a NL class 4 (chauffeur) is a definite asset.

The salary for this position will commensurate with experience.

The Festival provides return travel (by most economical method) for successful applicants.

The Festival provides shared housing (with a housing fee/damage deposit) in the community for company members.
