2010 - 2011 NATIONAL ARTS CENTRE SPECIAL EVENTS AGREEMENT RENEWAL
RATIFIED BY MEMBERSHIP

The recently negotiated a one-year extension of the National Arts Centre
Special Events Agreement (NACSEA) was ratified by the affected Equity
membership in a ballot count held earlier today.

Members voted 100% in support of the proposed changes. The return rate
on the ballots mailed was 15%.

The negotiated changes provide for a 1.5% increase to all minimum rates,
fees and other monetary amounts. All other existing terms of the
2007-2010 Agreement remain in effect. The NACSEA now extends to August
31, 2011.
