Additional information:
Dual role of Ernie Fraser/Blake Stone - both characters are on a
Caribbean cruise with their respective wives. Both characters are 55
years old.

Ernie owns a family owned hardware store which has been successful in
the past but he is worried about the arrival of the big box hardware
stores. He is engineering savvy but opted for marriage instead of higher
education. Ernie is honest, salt of the earth, a bit rough around the
edges, always helpful and practical, in his own mind, an ordinary guy.
He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Twink, for 35 years.

Blake has been married to his actress/trophy wife Beth for 10 years and
is well off because of his high-end fashion eyewear business for which
he will do anything and everything to promote and expand. He is a
smooth-talking, sophisticated, rather shallow and selfish individual who
has insisted that Beth reject her first love of live stage performing in
favour of the film and commercial world because she can stay home and
make lots more money.

Audition Requirements: Please prepare two contrasting contemporary
comic monologues.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
