Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
Roseneath Theatre seeks to be a reflection of the audience we serve. For
this reason, we reach out to artists from different cultural
backgrounds.

Additional information:
Roseneath seeks actors 18 - 25; recent graduates from acting training
programs without an agent.

Production:
The Neverending Story, by Michael Ende, adapted & directed by David S.
Craig, is a celebration of the imagination & a 'coming of age' story.

Roles:
BASTIAN:  Timid, young boy of ten, bullied by his school mates, judged
by his father & recovering from the loss of his mother.  He discovers a
strange book which catapults him into the world of Fantastica & the
adventures of Atreyu.

ATREYU: Young, honest, brave hunter (approx. 16) who is a little
uncoordinated.  Nonetheless, he is chosen by the Childike Empress to
find a cure for her mysterious illness & save Fantastica from the
destruction of The Nothing.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
