ELECTIONS FOR THE 2012-2015 COUNCIL TERM - CPAG STRUCTURE CHANGES ANNOUNCED
----------------------------------------

Elections for the 2012-2015 term of Council are scheduled to take
place this autumn, and members will see some important changes in this process.

As part of its ongoing efforts to make Equity work more effectively on behalf of its members, and to use member finances more efficiently, Council is revamping the traditional elected advisory structure. These changes will build on the historical strengths of the advisories, and use them in a different way, providing more effective member representation and input on issues of importance to them.

President Allan Teichman provides detailed information on the upcoming changes in the Spring 2012 EQ (http://www.caea.com/EquityWeb/MembersOnly/Redirect/ToLatestEQ.aspx) and the accompanying Council Link (http://www.caea.com/Equityweb/MembersOnly/Redirect/Governance/2012/ToCouncilLink-0412.aspx), as well as in the hard-copy
versions currently in the mail.

Members who would like greater detail, can find an expanded version of both items at President Teichman's Council Connection blog (http://councilconnection.blogspot.com).
