given to Aboriginal performers (including First Nations, Metis and
Inuit), but all qualified actors are encouraged to apply.  Female 25-50
years; Ability to dance and sing is an asset; Applicants must have at
least two years experience in professional theatre;

international touring companies for a 5-week tour to high profile
theatres across the USA.

Synopsis: Young Nuna has started to hear things she can't figure out.
Realizing she has inherited the ability to hear the spirits of rushing
rivers and soaring mountains, Nuna's grandmother takes her to the river
and entrusts her to a boatman who brings her to where a glacier is
melting and the spirit of a great mountain weeps. Does Nuna have the
power to answer the mountain's cry? Inspired by the Indigenous story of
Jumping Mouse, a young girl discovers the transformative power of nature
and the importance of courage.  Written by Tracey Power. Directed by
Alan Dilworth.

MULTI CHARACTER ROLE:
The Great Mountain:  A spirit of nature who awakens everyone on earth
with her sense of urgency to care for the planet. She is powerful,
strong, vulnerable and wise.
Young Mika: A ten year old girl who discovers the magic of nature in a
laughing river.
Grandma Mika: a wise and humorous elder who helps her grand-daughter
find her courage.
Business Woman: a mid-20's business woman who is caught in the urban rat
race.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
