AGREEMENT NEGOTIATIONS & ENGAGEMENT POLICIES UNDER REVIEW IN 2013

The following agreements will be negotiated or engagement policies will be renewed in 2013.

Negotiations: 
* Banff Centre for the Arts Agreement - expires March 31, 2013 - negotiations commence in March 2013 - negotiation suggestions must be received by January 25, 2013

* Canadian Opera Agreement - expires June 30, 2013 - negotiations commence in Spring 2013 - negotiation suggestions must be received by Friday, February 1, 2013

* Opera Agreement - expires June 30, 2013 - negotiations commence in spring 2013 - negotiation suggestions must be received by February 1, 2013

* National Arts Center Music Department Agreement - expires June 30, 2013 - negotiations commence in early June 2013 - negotiation suggestions must be received by April 20, 2013

* National Capital Commission Events Agreement - expires August 31, 2013 - negotiations commence in early June 2013 - negotiation suggestions must be received by April 20, 2013

* National Ballet of Canada Agreement - expires June 30, 2013 - discussion commenced November 2012 and negotiations are ongoing - negotiation suggestions must be received by January 15, 2013

Pending engagement policy renewals: 
* Independent Opera Producers Agreement (mirrors the terms of the Opera Agreement) - expires June 30, 2013 - policy suggestions must be must be received by February 1, 2013

* Festival Policy - annual review is March 30, 2013 - eligible Festival and or policy suggestions must be must be received by March 1, 2013

* Amateur Policy - annual review is October 1, 2013 - policy suggestions must be must be received by September 1, 2013

Lapses:
* Tangerine Project - Addendum to the CTA - lapses December 30, 3013 when the material terms of the Addendum come into effect in the CTA

* Independent Artists Projects Policy (INDIE) and the Co-op Guidelines will be replaced by the Indie 2.0 and Artists' Collective Policy in January 2013

All Equity members are encouraged to contribute to the review and negotiation of these agreements or the revision of these engagement policies. Suggested proposals for change or amendment should be sent to agreements at caea.com.
