Auditions will take place at the Theatre Passe Muraille Rehearsal Hall - 54 Wolseley St, Suite 202, Toronto, ON from Monday, June 2nd to Thursday June 5th, 2014

Frankenstein rehearses October 6-22 with a performance run of October 23-25, 2014

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

Victor Von Frankenstein: (late 30s-mid-40s) the doctor

The Creature: (mid-30s-50s) tall, broad, imposing; must have experience with classical texts

Elizabeth Lavenza: (mid-30s) fiancée of Dr. Frankenstein; will double as the body of the Female Creature (partial nudity may be required)

Fritz: (30s-40s) small stature, Dr. Frankenstein's assistant

Robert Walton/Henry Clerval: (early-mid 40s) Walton is a ship captain; Clerval is Dr. Frankenstein's best friend

Mr. Williamson/Hans: (40s-50s) Williamson is the ship's first mate; Hans is a servant

First Seaman/Felix: (20s-30s) Felix is the son of De Lacey

Second Seaman/De Lacey: (50+) thin, slight, not too tall; De Lacey is the blind father of Felix

Third Seaman/Conrad: (30s) Conrad is a servant

Louise: (40s-50s) robust scullery maid

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
