Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
TNB welcomes diversity and blind casting. New Brunswickers will be given priority.

Additional information:
Auditions will take place at Theatre Passe Muraille Rehearsal Hall, 54 Wolseley St., Suite 202, Toronto, ON from Monday June 2nd to Thursday, June 5th, 2014.

A Christmas Carol rehearses Nov 21-Dec 10 with a performance run of December 11-13, potential tour on December 14 & 15.

Character Breakdown:

Scrooge: (40-60)

Cratchit, Future Spirit: (30s-early 40s)

Fred/Marley: (late 20s-early 30s)

Fezziwig: (40-60) robust; one man plays various roles including Fezziwig, Present Spirit, Old Joe

Mrs. Fezziwig: (mid-30s-early 40s) one woman plays various roles, including Mrs. Fezziwig, Past Spirit, Mrs. Cratchit, Mrs. Dilber

Peter: (early-mid 20s) one actor plays various roles, including Peter, Teen Scrooge, Party Guest

Martha: (early-mid 20s) one actor plays various roles, including Martha, Bell, Fred's Wife

Note: Those selected to audition for A Christmas Carol will be given a musical side, for which TNB's Music Director may accompany. Actors are also asked to prepare a song of their choice, to be performed a capella.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
