Additional information: 
Gateway Theatre is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to fill the
position of Communications Manager.

As the Communications Manager, you will perform the following duties:
. plan and implement marketing and publicity campaigns for six annual
productions, a Chinese-language theatre festival, two subscription
cycles, Academy productions and enrollment, and other activities as
directed
. act as a media spokesperson and conduit to maintain and enhance the
overall public image of the Theatre.  
. act as communications consultant to all departments, including the
Board, to ensure the quality of materials or comments issued in print,
orally, or via the internet
. participate as a member of the Management Team to plan overall theatre
operations and policy
. manage departmental budgets
. supervise support staff

Qualifications:
. Prior experience in marketing and communications.
. Prior experience supervising personnel.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
. Familiarity with MS Office software. 
. Work experience in an arts and/or cultural environment is an asset
. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset. 
. You are enthusiastic about sharing live performance.
