CANADIAN DANCE AND GUEST ARTIST POLICES EXTENDED
-------------------------

Equity's Canadian Dance Policy and Guest Artist Policy are extended to
Sunday, January 3, 2016. The current terms of the Canadian Dance and Guest
Artist policies will remain in force for the extension period. All fees and
material terms will remain unchanged until the end of the year.

As of January 4, 2016, Equity will introduce new terms and conditions for
independent opera engagements and refine the existing conditions in the
Canadian Dance Policy. Those provisions, along with updated terms and
conditions for Guest Artist engagements in theatre, will be combined into a
single new document, known as the "DOT Policy" (Dance, Opera, Theatre). This
extension will allow more time for the development and inclusion of member
input received in the comprehensive DOT Policy. The DOT Policy will also
include input already received from members on academic engagements in the
theatre.
