MEMBER ADVISORY - CTA NEGOTIATIONS - PROPOSAL DEADLINE

The Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA) is set to expire June 28, 2015.
Negotiations between Equity and the Professional Association of Canadian
Theatres (PACT) will commence February 2015.

Equity members are encouraged to contribute to the review and
negotiation of the CTA. Proposal suggestions must be submitted to
agreements at caea.com no later than JANUARY 26, 2015 (NOTE: NEW DEADLINE).

Pre-negotiation discussions between Equity and PACT commenced November
2014. Topics under discussion include:
- Issues of cultural diversity in Canadian Theatre
- Artist accommodations when working out of town
- Touring issues (co-productions, remounts, local and run-outs)
- Company Category for touring productions

Questions regarding the review and negotiation of any of Equity's
agreements or engagement policies may be emailed to agreements at caea.com,
