This particular study of clown, inspired by Philippe Gaulier is a study of showing up, being open, sensitive, vulnerable, human, ridiculous, finding your special quality that connects you to others, being present and engaging to an audience, connecting and opening a channel between you and them. It's a rudimentary practice. New and returning students work alongside each other and discover it's impossible to become an expert at this and every time you come to this work you find something new.
DATES: April 25th and 26th, 2015
Location: Toronto -Zuke Studio, 1581 Dupont Street
Time: 11am -5pm each day
Cost: $200 + HST
returning students: 50% discount

Directing With Richard Rose
>From conceptualization to rehearsal, this course will be an examination/exploration of a directing process — a how-to-go from your first reading’s gut impression to moment-by-moment rehearsal with the actors. Central to this directing process is the principle of action — the tool through which a director can tell stories, motivate actors, visualize designs and actualize metaphors. This workshop is open to actors and directors alike.
