Additional information: Notice of General Auditions Magnus Theatre's
2015/2016 Season

June 10 to June 13 in Toronto
Actors wishing to audition are invited to submit a photo and resume by
email by May 20, 2014 to: artisticdirector at magnus.on.ca

Note this is a General Audition. Two contrasting pieces are required.
Each piece is to be no longer than 2 minutes in length.  You may be
called back to read (or to sing if you fit the requirements for the
musical as described).

Please do not call the theatre. Following a review of the resumes
submitted, specific audition times will be scheduled.  Actual Audition
date, time, and location will be communicated to you when the theatre
contacts you.

Magnus Theatre produces a six-play mainstage season in Thunder Bay, as
well as a TYA tour of two plays that tour across Northwestern Ontario.

The productions to be cast are: 

RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH	
Created by Richard Maltby, Jr., Conceived by William Meade

Rehearsal Dates: August 24 to Sept. 12 - Run Dates: Sept. 14 to Sept 26
Cast:
Trenna - Female vocalist, alto voice: F# (below middle C) to F# ( an
octave and a fourth above middle C), doubling on acoustic guitar.  

Jason - Male vocalist: D (an octave and a seventh below middle C) to Ab
(above middle C), playing acoustic guitar, 

Dave - Male vocalist: -E (an octave and a sixth below middle C) to B
(above middle C), playing electric guitar, banjo, and fiddle

Eddie - Male vocalist:-E (an octave and a sixth below middle C) to F
(above middle C) playing acoustic and electric guitar

Mark - Male vocalist: -E (an octave and a sixth below middle C) to G
(above middle C) playing bass (preferably double bass) and various
percussion

Please indicate vocal range on you resume and list all musical
instruments that you play.
