2016-2019 COA AND OPA AGREEMENTS RATIFIED BY MEMBERSHIP

Recently negotiated changes for the 2016-2019 Canadian Opera Agreement (COA)
and the 2016-2019 Opera Agreement (OPA) were ratified by the eligible Equity
membership in a vote which concluded on September 8, 2016.

2016-2019 COA:
Members voted 97.1% in support of the proposed changes. A total of 197
voters were eligible to vote and 69 Equity members cast a ballot. The voting
return rate was 35%.
Minimum fee increases of 2% in each year of the 2016-2019 Canadian Opera
Agreement. Single monetary amounts for the term of the Agreement will
increase by 6% immediately and remain for the duration of the Agreement.

2016-2019 OPA:
Members voted 97.4% in support of the proposed changes. A total of 263
voters were eligible to vote and 77 Equity members cast a ballot. The voting
return rate was 29.3%.
Minimum fees will be maintained for the first year of the 2016-2019 Opera
Agreement, with financial increases of 2% in the second year and 2% in the
third year of the Agreement. All other monetary amounts will increase by 4%
in the first year and remain at that rate for the duration of the Agreement.

The 2016-2019 COA and 2016-2019 OPA both take effect immediately and the
terms of the new Agreement is retroactive to July, 1, 2016.

Electronic copies of both Agreements will be available on EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com) and in hard copy as soon as updating and printing
allows. A copy of the ratification documents will remain online at
EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) until the updated Agreements are
released.
