AUDITION CALL
Vancouver Opera is holding Chorus
Auditions for the 2017 – 2018 Season on May 15, 2017
for Main stage productions: Turandot, L'Elisir d'amore, Eugene Onegin

Audition requirements are as follows:
•    Three opera arias – one in Italian, two in different languages of own
choice.
•    All arias must be in the original language.
•    Each aria must be no longer than 5 minutes in length.
•    Oratorio and art song selections are not permitted.
•    A pianist will be provided.  Applicants may also bring their own
pianist.
•    Applicants must be residents of, and eligible to work in, Canada.

To be considered for an audition, diplomas/degrees are not required, but a
minimum of university-level or equivalent in voice and music training, and
stage experience, is expected.

Please email an ELECTRONIC COPY of your résumé and headshot with the words
“Chorus Audition” in the subject line by May 1, 2017 to:

No hard copy submissions, No phone calls, please. Only those considered for
an audition will be contacted.
